Femtosecond microfabrication in scaffolds applications utilizes multi-photon polymerization technology to create meta-materials with unique physical properties. The WOW distance approach is used to fabricate a 3D gyroid structure that is mechanically rigid, light and of arbitrary geometry, making it suitable for scaffold manufacturing. MPP technique allows for the formation of high resolution structures of different shapes and sizes, perfect for cell-size cages in tissue engineering.
